LEXAN ® - Specialty

Sabic Innovative Plastics speciality films include UV-stabilized and FDA-compliant grades of LEXAN films are available for the wide variety of applications where clarity, impact strength, and high-temperature performance is required. These films have good dimensional stability, heat resistance, are easily die-cut, two-side printable, and thermoformable. LEXAN® HPFDF
LEXAN® HPFDF film is a patent pending high performance polycarbonate film with one side treated with an anti -fog coating and one side coated with an adhesive. It is an excellent choice for wet application to the glass in display case refrigeration units such as those found in grocery and convenience stores.

LEXAN® T2F
LEXAN® T2F polycarbonate film is specifically designed and manufactured for three-dimensional, thermoformed and insert mould decorated applications that require tight graphics registration.

LEXAN® T2FOQ
LEXAN® T2FOQ Film is a very low stress polycarbonate film with a polished surface on both sides. It is uniquely manufactured in a class 1000 clean room using a melt filtered grade of polycarbonate resin. This new grade of Lexan film is offered in wider widths and longer rolls than our standard graphic films. LEXAN® T2FOQ possesses outstanding formability and allows for excellent graphics registration after forming. The low stress characteristic of this film is a typical necessity for applications such as opthalmic lenses, flat panel displays, optical media, and automotive instrument clusters.

LEXAN® DM35
LEXAN® DM35 is a custom textured graphic grade film specifically designed for the digital imaging market. It can be used as an over-lamination to protect tradeshow graphics and provide rigidity for pop-up displays or as a substrate for ink receptive coatings such as Ink-Jet. LEXAN® DM35 is available in a wide range of custom widths with a velvet 1st surface and an ultra-fine matte 2nd surface.

LEXAN® GS135
LEXAN® GS135 Film is a laminate construction of PVF and polycarbonate graphic film. With this lamination technology, LEXAN® GS135 provides excellent protection from chemical and UV attack, making it an ideal candidate as a substrate for exterior industrial applications. Lexan® GS135 film is a laminate of PVF and Lexan polycarbonate graphic grade film. GS135 offers high chemical resistance, formability for in-mold decorating applications and long term resistance to outdoor weathering. These characteristics, combined with an improved abrasion resistance, allow GS135 to meet the most stringent outdoor formed and flat panel applications. GS135 is available in velvet/matte finish in gauges .010 - .020. The standard web width is 48”.
