Specialty Films - Polymer Blends

Regal Tempet
Regal Graphics’ proprietary polycarbonate / PET blend film was designed for In-Mold Decorated (IMD)* processing. It has excellent temperature qualities and chemical resistance.
Tempet benefits include:
Low forming temperature
Little to no stress created during the forming process
Better chemical and abrasion resistance than polycarbonate

Sahara™ films, made from Eastman specialty plastics, were developed for use in applications where increased temperature resistance is desired. They maintain the transparency and toughness of films made of Eastar™ copolyester but is engineered to withstand 20°C (36°F) higher temperatures. Sahara™ films are the “HOT” choice for thermoforming, printing, and laminating.

Tempet® Polymer is a clear copolyester/polycarbonate alloy. It affords the consumer excellent impact strength, chemical resistance, dimensional stability, low shrinkage rates and other enhanced physical properties advantages.

Extreva Media
Extreva is a proprietary media developed for use in all HP Indigo Presses. These products can be either sheet fed or web fed. Standard sheet sizes are 12x18 or 12" wide rolls. We will supply and sheet count that the customer specifies, we are not limiting you to a Standard bix count. Improved shelf life and the ability to order specific quantities are just a few of the advantages of Regal Graphics’ Extreva product family. The Extreva line will include Sabic Innovative Plastics Lexan films, vinyl, PETG and a selection of other commonly used media in the marketplace. The coating has thoroughly been tested and approved by the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). Our product has a duel layer primer system that allows the top coat to bond indefinitely to the film. The coating system provides almost immediate adhesion of the ink, something the guys at RIT were amazed at. Typically the sheets have to sit for 10 minutes before they have full adhesion.
