Digital Graphic Substrates

  • Acrylic

Extruded acrylic sheet is a glazing, signage, window, or display material that is unaffected by moisture and has a high strength-to-weight ratio. It offers high light transmittance and can be heat-formed without loss of optical clarity. Extruded acrylic can be cut, routed, polished, bent and formed.

Cast acrylic sheet is optically transparent, unaffected by moisture, and offers a high strength-to-weight ratio and high light transmittance. Cast acrylic sheets can be easily heat-formed without loss of optical clarity. Prolonged exposure to moisture, or even total immersion in water, does not significantly affect the mechanical or optical properties of this material.

Abrasion-resistant acrylic sheets are continuously manufactured sheet which offers excellent optical clarity and high impact strength with abrasion and chemical resistant properties. It resists marring and scratching from everyday public contact, daily cleanings, and airborne dirt and dust. It is useful for numerous applications, including P-O-P displays, store fixtures, menu boards, flat panel display monitors, signs & directories, LCD screens, and framing.

Impact modified acrylic sheet offers good impact resistance along with excellent weatherability, clarity, and processing characteristics. Developed primarily for the sign industry, this impact sheet combines the well-known weatherability of acrylic with proprietary impact-resistant chemistry. These properties and outstanding thermoforming characteristics provide a superior material for signage applications.

Acrylic mirror is a continuously processed extruded acrylic sheet with a metalized mirrored finish that is protected by a coated backing. Acrylic mirror is available in a variety of colors, patterns, two-way mirrors, and even aircraft and marine grades. It is ideal for slat walls, POP Displays, and food service applications.

  • Polycarbonate

General Purpose: Polycarbonate sheet is a virtually unbreakable sheet that is 300-times stronger than single-strength glass and significantly tougher than other transparent sheet materials of equal thickness. It`s unlikely that a polycarbonate sheet will break, shatter or chip when hit with items such as rocks, bricks, or bottles. Polycarbonate sheet is also light in weight, transmits 85%to 89% light in normal window thicknesses, and has the ability to withstand most outdoor weather.

UV resistant polycarbonate sheet combines the impact strength of a general-purpose polycarbonate sheet with proprietary UV-resistant surface treatment on both sides that protects it from weathering. UV polycarbonate sheet is the only polycarbonate glazing material backed by a ten-year limited warranty against yellowing, loss of light transmission, and breakage. UV-resistant polycarbonate sheet is well suited for all types of vertical glazing and overhead applications such as skylights, covered walkways, and barrel vaults.

Sign grade polycarbonate is a UV-resistant sheet or reel which is available in clear, white, and in standard and custom colors. It is ideal for decorated outdoor signs, including pole signs and channel letters. Sign grade polycarbonate can be thermoformed with crisp detail, offers excellent aesthetics, withstands high impact and abuse, and carries a limited written warranty against breakage and weathering. Scratch-resistant polycarbonate sheet has an abrasion-resistant coating on both sides of the sheet, which provides a high level of resistance to abrasion and defies graffiti to help ensure a "like-new" appearance for many years to come. Applications for scratch-resistant polycarbonate include windows in psychiatric units and schools, hurricane protection, and transportation window applications.

  • PETG

PETG co-polyester sheet is a thermoplastic sheet used in engineering applications. PETG offers the capability to produce complex shapes, precise details, deep draws, and compound curves without worrying about durability. PETG is easily formed, die-cut, and punched. It also brings increased design freedom and lower fabrication costs. In sheet form, PETG has the impact strength and fabrication ease that acrylic can`t touch, with the durability to significantly reduce packaging and shipping costs.

  • Styrene

Styrene sheet is used extensively in the graphic arts market for the production of signs and displays. It exhibits a number of characteristics desired by lithographic, screen, and digital printers. Styrene is also ideal for medical, food, and dairy packaging applications. Styrene sheet is available in a variety of thicknesses, color densities, and sizes to fit most applications.

  • Expanded PVC

Expanded PVC is a lightweight closed-cell, rigid PVC sheet. It is available in white, black, and multiple colors. Expanded PVC comes in a variety of thicknesses and sizes to fit most applications. The double-sided matte surface is ideal for screen printing, painting, laminating, applying vinyl lettering, and forming projects. It can be easily sawed, drilled, bent, and fabricated using ordinary plastic tools and fasteners.

  • Fluted Polypropylene

Fluted polypropylene sheet is an extruded sheet comprised of two skins separated by vertical ribs. These ribs create a series of "flutes" that run the length of the sheet. The square box shape of the flutes makes the sheets rigid and strong. The skins and ribs are very thin, making the sheets very lightweight, especially compared to solid sheets. Fluted polypropylene is available in a variety of thicknesses and sizes to fit most applications.

  • Aluminum

Aluminum clad panels are a rigid, durable aluminum composite sheet consisting of two pre-painted aluminum sheets ranging from .006 to .012" thick that are bonded to a solid polyethylene core. This unique composition makes it approximately one-half the weight of aluminum. Aluminum clad panels are an excellent replacement for aluminum, MDO, plywood, and thick gauge plastics.

Aluminum sheets and sign blanks come in a variety of thicknesses, sizes, and colors. Blanks can also come with rounded corners as an option. Many of these sheets include a protective PVC covering on one side to keep the sheets clean and dust-free.

  • Gatorfoam

Gatorfoam® is a tough, durable, lightweight foam board with a polystyrene core and a patented manmade veneer laminate face for enhanced durability. Gatorfoam is an excellent choice for laminating print and also for direct-to-substrate UV printing. Gatorfoam is available in a variety of thicknesses and sizes to fit any application.

  • Infinity

Infinity is a heavy-duty, all-plastic panel that features a litho-grade, high-impact polystyrene surface perfect for screen printing and digital printing. It is ideal for permanent displays and signs. Infinity is designed for interior use and is favored for its durability. The dent-resistant styrene liners are secured to the foam center with a remarkable bond that keeps the panel flat and rigid. The Infinity surface does not allow moisture to penetrate, so inks and paints stand out vividly for screen-printed, digital-printed, or painted images.

  • Foam Boards

Foam boards are extremely lightweight sheets comprised of extruded polystyrene foam with clay-coated white or black paper facers. They are an excellent choice for laminating prints onto and also for direct-to-substrate UV printing. Foam boards are available in a variety of thicknesses and sizes to fit any application.
